Qué mejor manera de empezar el 2007 que con la llegada al país del "after" más peculiar del mundo electrónico: El CircoLoco, con su Tour Mundial que arrancó en Chile el 4 de Enero, y tocará nuestras playas de fina arena blanca el 27 de Enero, a partir de las 12 del medio dia, en el Jelly Fish, Bavaro.

Mezclado por dos de sus DJs insignia : Tania Vulcano y Luciano, junto a dos de los mas destacados talentos locales escogidos para tan brillante ocasión : Mr. Black [4 Line Records] y Harú [28ºC].

Y esta, sin duda, será la fiesta más importante de la isla con la seña de identidad del club DC10. Los socios de CircoLoco, Andrea Pelino y Antonio, estarán presentes junto con el dueño del mitico DC10 y nos ayudaran a recrear la atmósfera ibizenca de la fiesta más atractiva y llena de aventura de Ibiza.

LOS EXTRAS
En este evento serán presentadas las mejores soluciones audiovisuales, música y arte, teniendo en cuenta que los objetivos principales de Dinámica (productores del evento) son : exclusividad y calidad, haciendo énfasis en la atmósfera, en base a luces y escenografía. Habrá un pequeño mercado playero y exhibicion de deportes acuaticos.

Tambien hay un Pre-party el Viernes 26 a las 5:00 PM en Soles, con los DJs y el Staff del evento sin cover. Haru + Mr. Black estaran encendiendo la arena ese dia.

Sobre Luciano, solo podemos decir que lo está esperando todo el movimiento electrónico nacional desde hace ya mucho tiempo, y si todavía quieres saber la razón sólo podemos decirte que es porque Luciano –y no somos los únicos que afirmamos esto- está considerado como el máximo, el número uno.

Circo Loco residents Tania Vulcano and Cirillo take listeners on a woozy trip on the latest comp celebrating clubland's most colourful and twisted afterhours.

Every Monday morning from June to October hedonistic clubbers are lured to DC10 for the carnival-like atmosphere of Circo Loco, the all-day long afterhours started by Italians Antonio and Andrea Pelino back in 1999. Circo Loco means crazy circus and it's the party where the beautifully wasted come together in Ibiza. Besides the colourful characters (some might even say caners) who make Circo Loco what it is, there are also its resident DJs who spin underground house and techno alongside the international guest DJs who hound Andrea and co. for an invitation to play.

Next month a new compilation 'Circo Loco at DC10 Ibiza Monday Morning Session' will be released on Azuli Records mixed by resident DJs Tania Vulcano and Cirillo. It's the second time the pair have captured the party vibe and music ethos of Circo Loco on CD, and follows on from last year's compilation mixed by Clive Henry and Loco Dice.

Disc One is mixed by Tania Vulcano who has lived in Ibiza for the last ten years. A resident at both Space and DC10 and bi-monthly resident of Mr. C's Superfreq nights at The End in London, Vulcano's mix is a minimal techno affair with tracks by Ricardo Villalobos, Alex Smoke, Danilo Vigorito and Loco Dice. On the second disc Italian electronic music scene veteran Carlo Andrea Raggi, aka DJ Cirillo, compiles Circo Loco faves from the past few years including cuts by Ron Trent, James Holden, Blake Baxter and Slam.

M.A.N.D.Y. [RA040]




Patrick Bodmer & Philipp Jung are one of the most heavily booked German DJ acts. Resident in Berlin, recently they’ve been clocking up serious air miles with club dates in North America, South America, Australia, Japan and Europe. In their spare time, they like to run Get Physical, one of the hottest house labels around, releasing the likes of Booka Shade, DJ. T, Djuma Soundsystem and Chelonis L. Jones.

Release-wise, M.A.N.D.Y. have mixed three compilations on Get Physical including last year’s ‘At the Controls’, voted RA’s top compilation of 2006. Although primarily DJs, M.A.N.D.Y. also produce too: their 2005 collaboration with Booka Shade ‘Body Language’ scored them ‘Ibiza Track of the Season 2005’ and has since been licensed to over one hundred compilations. As remixers, they’ve also retooled The Knife, Lindstrom, Mylo, Royksopp, the Sugarbabes and Laurie Anderson.

Their sound? M.A.N.D.Y. weave together house, electro house, techno and a slice of pop or two, all stitched together with a feeling for both musical ingenuity and for the dancefloor. But they’re not musical purists about it: ‘At the Controls’ even featured a Cat Steven track or two, but their RA podcast delivers a deeper, clubbier vibe, featuring prime cuts from the likes of Martin Buttrich, Villalobos and Exercise One. It’s been on constant rotation round here since it landed.

Get Physical turn to English house DJ Jesse Rose for the third edition in their popular Body Language series. 'Body Language Vol. 3' will be released mid-February.

Jesse Rose is one of those bubbling under names whose move to Get Physical just might break him internationally. But if you look closely at the record bins, you'll find his name everywhere: recently he's released on Dubsided, Will Saul's Simple label (as Content) and Mobilee as well as Derrick Carter's Classic label (as Induceve). Rose also runs three – count 'em – record labels, The Front Room, Loungin' and his latest addition Made to Play, releasing the likes of Solid Groove, Trevor Loveys and Stefan Goldmann. “Jesse can do no wrong in my eyes," says Output head Trevor Jackson. "He's always diverse and never scared to do his own thing."


Rose joins the ranks of stablemates M.A.N.D.Y. and DJ T. with his 'Body Language' mix, on which he includes a number of his own Dubsided, Classic and Made to Play productions, as well as more than a few chopped up hip-hop samples. “Using hip-hop is part of a general attitude," Rose explains. “If you listen to house music when you're making house music, that's when things go wrong. I did the mix using two turntables and a CD deck. It took me three weeks to do properly. Don't ask me why I didn't just do it on a computer - maybe I feel DJing should be involved, a performance, rather than just looking like someone checking their emails on a laptop."

Aside from his own tracks, 'Body Language 3' includes some bigger like-minded tunes such as Radio Slave's remix of 'Deer in the Headlights', Bobby Peru's 'Erotic Discourse' and Aril Brikha's perennial stomper 'Groove La Chord' from 2002. “I decided to end the mix with 'Groove La Chord' because I started off playing Detroit and Chicago music, so what better way to end my first mix?" says Rose.
